Exceptional communication, organizational, and presentation skills. Passionate administrator offering a comprehensive background in project management, diversity, inclusion, estimating, field supervision, policy, and program development. Provided a successful record of partnering with federal, state, local government entities, and community-based organizations.
Financial Director
Creative financier with 23 years of diverse and
comprehensive managerial and financial experience in private and not-for-profit organizations.
Possessing the ability to adapt to any work environment and create programs and curriculums as
required. Areas of expertise are economic and community development; business development;
Extremely knowledgeable in project financing; deal structuring; team building; Held senior
leadership positions with a nonprofit community development corporation, financial institutions,
development of programming and curriculum in higher education and served on several boards
of directors.
Operations Director
Trista recently joined the Battery Workforce Development Group within the Sustainable Transportation Education & Partnerships (STEP) Department as the Vocational Program Manager for the Battery Workforce Challenge. In addition to developing the vocational workforce strategy for the clean energy emerging workforce, she is also a mentor to Jackson State University – Hinds Community College Battery Workforce Challenge competition team.
Trista’s background includes both military and civilian experiences that has equipped her with a unique set of leadership and technical skillsets.
She is a veteran who started her career with the US Army as an active-duty soldier where she served as a finance and accounting specialist and on the nuclear, biological, and chemical hazards defense advance party team during field missions.
Trista’s manufacturing career spanned over 20 years at top tier companies.
As a person whose passion is to make STEM accessible, she serves on mutiple boards and works tirelessly to improve the quality of life of the undeserved through STEM and workforce opportunities.
Government and External Relations Director
Innovative and creative policy and institutional development officer with 25 years of grant and placemaking experience. Excellent relationship builder who communicates effectively to external and internal stakeholders. Has uncanny ability to structure and maximize opportunities for all stakeholders to achieve success.
Strategic Resources Director
Accomplished and purposeful professional demonstrating an impeccable capacity to lead and produce positive results in program operations and lead administration locally, regionally and nationally. An engaging leader with an enthusiastic commitment to strategic management and providing high-impact team direction, producing excellent collaborative working relationships with executives and internal and external stakeholders. Areas of expertise include program design and management, contract monitoring and compliance, and grants management and administration.
Starting with a small set of apartment buildings, we have grown to residential and commercial high rises in our cities downtown. We provide everything from leasing and property management to legal support.
